LA POSADA DEL HORNO has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Valdecuenca. The rooms are equipped with a balcony. At the inn, every room comes with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. A real old fashioned Spanish inn. Despite our lack of Spanish we were made incredibly welcome by Rocio and Alix. Supper (very good) served in front of a log fire in a bar full of locals. Also appreciated the welcome for Daisy dog who immediately fell in love with the resident perro Sherlock. We hope to return.

Pintano is a very small atmospheric old hill town in the Spanish Pyrenees. It's basically in the middle of nowhere, but we made it a stop on our way back to Madrid from the French border near Jaca. A great choice because the inn is comfortable and the innkeeper (Jose) a really nice guy. He fed us an excellent 3 course meal, with wine, for 15 euros. A modest Spanish breakfast (coffee, toast and a packaged cake) is also included. A bit interesting to drive to the top of the town through the narrow alleys, but any passenger car can make it.

Set in Sofuentes, 42 km from Palace of the Kings of Navarre of Olite, LA POSADA DE SOFUENTES offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The inn has family... great staff, our bikes were well looked after and the evening meal was home cooked and delicious

We love the remoteness of the place.. So quiet and peaceful, nice walks, there is a bar in the Hostel and you can book an evening meal.. Our host was absolutely lovely, no English spoken but we managed with Translation on our phones... Typical Spanish village, church very close with a bell that goes off a lot on the hour, so if you can't tolerate that then possibly not for you... Breakfast was minimal and not served until 9am at weekends, so our host who lives in the next village gave us some bread, Jams and butter to take to our room the night before as we had a kettle and milk... And we left early and locked up...

Bar hostal Torralba de los sisones is located in Torralba de los Sisones and features a bar. The accommodation provides room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Its a small town but I felt welcome in a charming family run bar .The locals are very welcoming and willing to discuss politics, farming and are genuinely intetested in your visit. One shepherd wanted to come back to the Uk There are flamingos in the lake and plenty of storks.
