This place is a gem. Really nice inn in a small town. Excellent breakfast. Very nice restaurant--we enjoyed the "Sunday Roast" dinner. Beautiful view from the dining room--reminded me of a Monet garden painting. Clean modern rooms-recently updated. Close to the Egeskov castle which is a must see. Also close to Sandholt Slot which is not open to the public, but can be viewed from the road.

Everyone on staff is top drawer professional. Nothing was beyond them. Room was very nice, with plenty of linens and comfortable bedding and the renovation for this 130 year old elegant hotel is superb. The Bar is handy with a full range of drinks; alcoholic and otherwise, and the dining room is stellar for both breakfast and dinner.
location wasn’t bad, was a bit nicer than the last cabinn hotel we had stayed at - felt a little bit more comfortable. the window opened a lot wider than the last hotel and whilst it was a bit of a squeeze, the staff were good and this was the cleanest of the cabinn hotels.
It’s across from the water and the grounds have a nice view. The staff is very nice. Dinner was exceptional. It was a small portion, but perhaps some of the best I’ve had. It was prepared by Chef Daniel and our waitress was Louisa and she was fabulous.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Beautiful views, delicious dinner and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. We would make this our home base next trip to the area.
A local volunteer trust is renovating this historic inn. By staying in the hostel, in the side building, you support the community, I like that. Modern shared kitchen and living room to use for your family. Supermarket on walking distance. Faaborg and Egeskov nearby.
