This traditional family run country inn exists since 1810. Landgasthaus Sonne offers a large sun terrace and great views of the Stockerbachtal Valley. Breakfast was outstanding. The host was incredibly welcoming, very sweet and helpful! The rooms were clean, updated and very comfortable. The amenities were thoughful and fun! We highly recommend this hotel!! Will stay here again!

Large room with sofa and ample storage. Spacious traditional bathroom with large bath and powerful hot water in the shower. Very kind and thoughtful staff who helped us with our limited German. If you can afford it we recommend the restaurant with it's excellent menu. Breakfast was good though and made you feel at home. Nearby cafe bar also worth a visit for a beer and good food.

I arrived after a four hour motorcycle ride in horrible heavy rain and the first thing the host did was to show me where to dry my soaking wet riding clothing. Such a generous and kind gesture was really appreciated. The evening meal and a few beers were perfect as was the hosts genuine care and interest in their guests. If all Gasthaus’s could be this good I could not ask for more.
