Located in the centre of Tesserete, the family-run Ristorante Stazione is just 50 metres from Tesserete Train Station. The restaurant serves Swiss and Mediterranean cuisine and features a large terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available. Fantastic place. For sure simpler than a big name hotel but super friendly, clean and comfortable. For me it was the perfect place to stay in a beautiful area. Super happy.
Gandria

The views are amazing!! Staff very friendly and it's nice they leave little bits for breakfast,tea& coffee too.We stayed there before and will stay there again!! Love it!! The village is gorgeous and the Sentiero dei Olivi is just amazing ,and it starts around there.

The property is literally at the bus stop and water ferry yet we heard no noise from the street. The restaurant is highly rated so we tried it the first night and returned the second as well. They provided stand fans in the room which was greatly appreciated. The view from the room and hotel are wonderful.

Nice swimming pool, good beds, nice warm welcome
The location is excellent. The views of the lake are stunning. The restaurant is on the water’s edge and we have a very good dinner. Parking was on site. Breakfast was also good. The staff were kind and helpful.
Excellent hotel, within (relatively) easy walking distance of the Lugano train station (average 5 min - 3 min down, 7 minutes up). The hotel itself is cozy and "old skool" (you get REAL keys!), the staff is friendly, helpful and efficient, and everything works and is scrupulously clean (it is Switzerland, after all). The breakfast is excellent, as is dinner in the evening.

Location wasn't inner city, but very close. Very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Modern, clean, comfortable. And the lighting was bright. I stayed in so many places that were dark. And best of all, a kettle, sachets of tea and COFFEE!
Set on the lakeside with the most amazing views, and large grounds. We were kindly upgraded to a better apartment, which was super lovely of the hosts. If you’re after a charming, rustic and tranquil place, then this is it!
Good location in a charming little seaside town. I can imagine it would be great for families or couples with a car to discover the beautiful surroundings. Good breakfast. Friendly innkeepers.
