Also loved the little touches - like the nespresso machine in the room had nespresso brand pods. I chose the breakfast drop off and it was so lovely waking up and having a nice light euro breakfast on my door! also train station to get to Bern is 500m away so very nice place to stay if you do not have car or bike. loved the HUGE closet and shower! also the hair dryer was very nice. all the small details were so wonderful. even had a tan for the warm July weather!

Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. Location unbeatable. On top of the mountain. Perfect for stargazing if night sky is clear but I didn’t go out because I was scared what if I cant open the main gate with the code. But I am sure if I had asked the staff before they went off work, they would have showed. Staff is very helpful. They offered to heat my food for me. i could sit in the restaurant even when I was having my own food. I went on romantic trail and it was beautiful and started right from the property.

On a cliffside at 1650 meters height in the Bernese Oberland Alps, Mürren is a secret that has been coveted for decades by adventurers from all around the world. the accomodation was cozy, warm and inviting and our room was very spacious with amazing views. the staff went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and well looked after . the attached restaurant served amazing authentic food and we ate there both nights of our stay. there was also a terrace outside where you could sit and really enjoy the surrounding views of the mountain.

Set in Gadmen, within 35 km of Giessbachfälle and 31 km of Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg, Tälli Hütte offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Supernice host, good food, fine beds and exceptional mountainview.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn. Staff was very friendly. Cute hotel with stunning views from our bedroom balcony

The Alpenblick hotel is situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food. Great location, cozy room, and cery nice personel!

Directly on the shore of Lake Brienz, Boutique Hotel Bellevue Iseltwald offers a sun terrace. Amazing breakfast and perfect location. Favourite place in Switzerland! Wish we could have stayed longer

The Gasthof Schönegg in Goldswil is a typical Swiss Chalet Hotel with rustic-style rooms and a large terrace with panoramic views. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Good Breakfast, several options for everyone. Location is great, its just 2 stops away (5 mins) from Interlaken OST with Bus Line 102. Great views, highly recommended for families.

Set in Lenk, Berghaus Iffigenalp has a garden and terrace. Guests can enjoy mountain views. The property was nice and rustic. Berghaus Iffigenalp really made you feel like you were staying in a mountain lodge. Driving to the property have your camera ready because the scenery is amazing. The breakfast cost a little extra but was well worth the price.
