Pemba did her utmost to welcome us and make us feel at home. She cooked us a delicious, healthy gluten free porridge for breakfast and made us wonderful Indian food for supper, like prawn curry and butter chicken, as well as fresh local salmon. She gave us knowledgeable advise about the island, and a very special send-off the evening before we left. We felt very pampered! There are comfortable seating areas, inside and out, overlooking the bay. The hotel is not far from the pub, which has live local entertainment to join in on on Saturday night. A memorable experience.

Each room is unique (having stayed in two). The first was really nice. The second was spectacular! The view is great. Parking was very convenient. The staff go above and beyond. Oh - I wonder if anyone shares this - the restaurant on site smells so good. We weren't able to eat there. It's a point of great annoyance to me and I blame my husband. But we saw it. It was very clean and smelled so. Well you know.
Also nice and close to the airport. It wasn't loud. The airport is relatively small. But just down the road which was appreciated for early morning flight out and late night flight in. Yet it is also easy to get to stores and food.

This place is absolutely amazing. A rustic outside, but the place was spotless. The beds were amazing, cabins clean. The owners take you right in like family. The food is beyond this world. Home made bread, cinnamon buns, thick cut bacon with breakfast, everything homemade.
The location was excellent. Breakfast and afternoon tea sitting outside on the verandah was a real highlight. Lovely historic Inn.
Location is great, across the street from grocery store, around the corner from several restaurants. The hosts, Marissa and Shawn are lovely people. They suggested the Blackbird Tavern for our dinner and we had a great meal.
Perfect peaceful oasis! Everything was perfect! It’s my second time there, and it won’t be my last. Nancy is an amazing innkeeper! She is kind and thoughtful, and her breakfasts are incredible! Thanks for everything! Looking forward to my next stay!
fantastic cosy historic inn right on the waterfront in central Tofino. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy and there’s a good shared kitchen as well as shared bathrooms. it’s one minute from the bus stop for both the summer shuttle around Tofino and the inter islander bus route. It’s also 5 mins from the majority of shops and restaurants. lovely views across the bay from the deck and seats. there’s a nice shop and coffee shop underneath the inn (where they also run the kayaking operation)
Maureen was very generous. She supplied balloons, sparkling apple juice, fresh cinnamon buns, and rose petals on the bed at no extra cost. She gave us information about the ranch and amenities and was very welcoming. The place itself was rustic/modern which was very nice.
Beautiful room and a very welcoming innkeeper
Location very convenient coming into the city from the ferry. Clean room, & the innkeeper was just lovely!
