Perfectly located in the center of Hobart but in a quiet street!
My only regret was to leave this hotel but I really hope to come back!
Acacia Hills
All rooms at the inn are equipped with a seating area. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer, all units at Acacia Hills Retreat have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms here will provide you with a terrace. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. It was a fantastic location. Great views out over Mt Roland, and the sunsets are amazing. Great little place to come across. Has everything you need. Exceptionally clean and well looked after like new. And if you like star gazing, you are in for a treat.
Strahan
Set in Strahan, The Quarters has a garden. The inn also offers free WiFi and free private parking.

The Tasmanian Inn is located in Hobart, 800 m from Theatre Royal and less than 1km from the waterfront. Walk to Salamanca Market on Saturday in 20 minutes. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar, play billards, restaurant and lounge and free WiFi throughout the Inn. It was perfect, we didn't expect breakfast, but we could make it and it was delicious! The cleaning lady was so lovely and nice as well. Very good food in the restaurant.
Launceston CBD, Launceston

The property is around 12 km from Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, 2.5 km from Derwent Entertainment Centre and 2.9 km from Museum of Old and New Art - MONA. The property is non-smoking and is set 10 km from Theatre Royal.
The units in the inn are equipped with a kettle. At Montrose Double Bed Room close to City every room has bed linen and towels.
Location was great being close to the Mt Cradle Visitor's Centre as well as Devils@Cradle. The check-in process was easy and the staff was helpful in guiding about the places around. The cottage was warmed to 26 degree already when we entered. They had a spare heater in the second bedroom. They have got heated blankets in both the bedrooms. Hellyers Restaurant was a surprise as the food was awesome. I would recommend to have dinner here rather than Tavern Bar at Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge
Amazing view from the balcony and windows, great separate space for older kids / teens. Loved the little inclusions like use of binnoculars and lots of quirky / vintage collectables in a rustic, easy care space. Easy to feel at home
We had a wonderful welcome from Vicky & Mandy who made us feel very welcome. The room was very large and comfortable with wonderful views across the harbour and railway. Dinner in the Tavern was excellent as was the service. The sunsets visible from the restaurant were amazing. We were offered use of the laundry which we used. Wifi is only available in the public rooms in the Tavern and is secure. The breakfast in the railway cafe is excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We enjoyed our stay although just overnight- walking distance to the Tavern for Dinner- Nice walk along the beach. Property owner/Manager was very pleasant.
We chose the Argosy Motor Inn with it being close to the port for the Spirit of Tasmania and having a bistro available later on. The room was basic but very clean and was all that we needed for a one night's stay. The staff in the morning were very friendly, as were the team in the tavern/bistro.
Easy to get to the beach and right next door to the tavern for dinner
Good value accommodation in Strahan which is a pricey town. Had dinner at the tavern of fresh ocean trout from the harbour and it was delicious! We enjoyed our stay
Breakfast was fantastic. Water and lemon water in reception was a good touch. We didn't have dinner but would be good to have more variety like the tavern down the road at Peppers.
Very close to the tavern for dinner and good proximity to the walks around Freycinet
