Originalmente inaugurado em 1876, o histórico Prairie Hotel está localizado em Parachilna. Dispõe de um restaurante gourmet no local, um bar e uma galeria de arte. A unique experience in an outback location. Ellie and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The dining experience was second to none, with surprisingly tasty feral food, beautifully presented. There was great tasting craft beer on tap. The room and ensuite bathroom were well appointed and comfortable. The Nilpena Station fossil tour was extremely interesting and we are so glad we were able to do this with Ross Fargher.

There's a big parking lot you can use behind the hotel. There was a slight mishap with our room, which was however handled in a very professional way and immediately corrected. The room is quite large and rather new, with a big bathroom and ample space for our luggage. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs with a nice choice of wines and there's also the possibility to order a breakfast in the morning. The location is right in the middle of downtown, perfect to walk around the city but the rooms are really quiet, even though the main road is just next to the hotel. Loved the town itself, there's a lot of history here, but also interesting geology in downtown and close by with the lakes. Worth a stop.

Fresh-made muffins were left at our entry together with juice, milk and coffee, very much appreciated. Also, there were fantastic Australian shampoo/conditioner/body balm in the bathroom. The studio apartment was really cosy, would definitely recommend it to other people coming in the area or going to kangaroo island. Thanks for welcoming us :)

The location was perfect for access to the wineries in the region. Room was perfect for our needs. The owners were very helpful and kind.

O Pier Hotel tem vista para a bela Baía de Boston e para a costa. A propriedade está convenientemente localizada no centro da cidade, a apenas 1 minuto a pé da praia, lojas locais, cafés e... Lovely clean room, looked like it dad been recently renovated. Toilets were a little dated but still clean and functional. The staff at check-in were very helpful and friendly as were the bar and restaurant staff. Location was fab, only a five minute walk to the main drag with lots of shops and foody places.
