The hotel was far above my expectations. The hotel was unique to be in the outback of Australia. Ellie, the manager, was very welcoming & friendly. You could see that Ellie is very proud of her business & rightly deserved. The staff were friendly & the food was great. Even the feral mixed grill & emu paté was lovely. There are self drives from the hotel or you can just relax & do nothing. It certainly is an experience to be have.

Mount Gambier Hotel ligger i Mount Gambier, 2 km fra Blue Lake. Her en restaurant og en bar samt gratis wi-fi. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. Room setup exceeded my expectation. Beautifully renovated hotel.

Second Valley Cottages and Lodge ligger i Second Valley, under 2,3 km fra Second Valley Beach og 7,3 km fra Marina St Vincent. Fresh-made muffins were left at our entry together with juice, milk and coffee, very much appreciated. Also, there were fantastic Australian shampoo/conditioner/body balm in the bathroom. The studio apartment was really cosy, would definitely recommend it to other people coming in the area or going to kangaroo island. Thanks for welcoming us :)

I contacted Linda, the owner, to inform her of our 10 pm arrival. Even before meeting us, she was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Concerned we might not find food late at night, she even checked if we had eaten when we arrived. Linda personally came out with a wagon to help with our luggage and guided us to our cabin. She had already turned on the heater and lights to welcome us. Her warmth and attention to detail were evident in both her hospitality and the cabin itself. This was the first and only place where the owner wrote a personal welcome note, which truly touched me. Linda also prepared a map of Robe, thoughtfully highlighting the Main Street. The cabin was filled with meaningful gestures: a nightlight in the bathroom, a smart TV, books, board games, and brochures about local attractions. Both Linda and Jamie were kind enough to allow us a late checkout, making us feel at home and genuinely welcomed. We truly appreciated their hospitality and thoughtful care. Many thanks to both Linda and Jamie for making our stay so enjoyable!

Pier Hotel har udsigt over den smukke Boston Bay og kysten. Ejendommen har en god beliggenhed i byens centrum, blot 1 minuts gang fra stranden, lokale butikker, caféer og supermarkeder. Lovely clean room, looked like it dad been recently renovated. Toilets were a little dated but still clean and functional. The staff at check-in were very helpful and friendly as were the bar and restaurant staff. Location was fab, only a five minute walk to the main drag with lots of shops and foody places.
