Jorge was the perfect host: very accommodating and so friendly. He gave us very useful advice that made our stay in El Calafate even better. His daughter was helpful as well, and just as friendly. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable and as pictured on the web.

It is a very cosy place facing late Argentina. The place is tidy and quite. Susan is the best host I have ever met. She is kind, generous and warm. I dont speak Spanish but we talked a lot using translator. I feel so relaxed with her in her cosy place. If you have more time highly suggest you spend more days here to clear up the mind. Very enjoyable and peaceful stay.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, the Hotel y Cabañas Las Marías is situated in El Calafate, 3 km from Argentinean Lake. The rooms have a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Easy access, close to town and basic facilities covered. Very friendly staff and accommodating.

Located next to El Chalten’s trekking circuits and walking distance from the main road and the city centre, Hosteria El Puma offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Great dinner, great packed lunch options. Very nice, clean and warm room.

Situated in El Calafate, Posada Karut Josh has a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Really welcoming, helpful and kind. Always ready to offer guidance and we felt very at home here. Would definitely recommend (and already have done!)

Great family owned place, very clean and well managed. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. We've stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Perito Moreno / El Chalten and on a way back.

Only 300 metres from El Chalten city centre, Kaulem Hotel Boutique offers 4 rooms, with exclusive views of the Fitz Roy Mount. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided, and there is a library. Wow. From bed and the adorable sitting area you can see a peak of the famous Fitz Roy. The rooms decor is stunning, the staff are always kind and helpful. It was quiet, excellent WiFi (best in town), and a gorgeous design. If I could, I would only stay here. The bathrooms are white stone, heated floors and lovely but private windows, the bedroom has wooden floors. The bed and beautiful chairs are extremely comfortable. The common area has art that is genuinely good, most places in town have generic almost eerie outdoor stock images. Wish every hotel was as well done. This place is a gem.

Pudu Lodge is a Patagonian inn located in El Chaltén, inside Los Glaciares National Park, a few metres from the path to Mount Fitz Roy and Mount Torre Lagoon. Perfect location, amazing stuff, everything was gorgeous
