Staying at Hemel 'n Aarde Stud farm was an amazing experience. The cabin was super cosy and had the perfect mixture of rustic charm and modern comfort. Waking up to views of the fields and horses was incredible, and we loved taking walks around the property. What a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!
The whole property was spotless. Our room was absolutely amazing. Extremely spacious. Beautiful bathroom. The views were spectacular. James was so friendly. We lived it so much we cancelled our dinner reservation and ordered a takeaway!!

La Fontaine Guest House is situated perfectly at the ocean in Hermanus, only a 5min walk away from the city centre. The surrounding is very safe, the view great.
Rooms are very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful.
Parking Lot is spacious and easily accesible.
This place was perfect for our needs, we only wanted a place to sleep since we were only passing by this town, the room was super clean and comfy, the place had everything we needed and a great vibe, there was a really really reaaaaally nice lady at front desk at the time of our arrival (I feel bad because I cant remember her name but she was just the best), she helped us with everything we needed and gave us the best recommendations for dinner and breakfast, definitely will stay again next time I visit the whales at Hermanus.
The host Paul & Yvonne where wonderful and have a beautiful guest house over looking the golf course.

Good location to town but most important to the costal path to see the whales.
The location of the guest house was just fantastic, you are walking distance from all the major restaurants and the ocean of course. The rooms had the all the main requirements to make it a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also a winning point for me, more than enough to eat and quick to prepare your custom breakfast.
The guest house is in a convenient location, with a 10-15 min walk to the main restaurants. They serve a good freshly cooked breakfast and the room was peaceful and quiet. The inner courtyard is nice to relax.
What a beautiful Guest House. The room was extremely comfortable and had the most beautiful views of the mountain and ocean. Great fireplace and sherry to welcome us back after dinner. Well thought of.
