Amazing location close to the slopes. The staff were super nice, and the shuttle to the mountain was excellent for avoiding parking, especially on the weekends. The in-house restaurant made it super convenient to avoid going out for food after a long day.

Review of Mountain Sports Inn – Perfect Choice for Skiers and Visitors
My stay at Mountain Sports Inn in Killington, Vermont, was outstanding, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while enjoying the area. Whether you’re visiting for skiing, snowboarding, or simply taking in the beautiful surroundings, this inn checks all the boxes for a great experience.
Prime Location – Close to Killington Resort
The inn’s location is one of its biggest strengths. For anyone skiing or snowboarding at Killington Ski Resort, you couldn’t ask for better convenience. The inn is just 7 minutes away from the K1 Lodge, which made getting to the slopes fast and easy. After a long day of skiing, the short drive back was perfect – no hassle, no wasted time.
In addition to its proximity to the resort, the inn is close to other essential amenities. There’s a supermarket nearby for any snacks or supplies, and a restaurant just 100 meters away – ideal for grabbing a quick meal without having to drive. These little conveniences make the stay even more enjoyable, especially for skiers who want to focus on the slopes and not logistics.
Clean, Comfortable, and Recently Renovated
The rooms at Mountain Sports Inn are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. It’s clear that the management takes pride in offering a welcoming, comfortable space for their guests. One of the highlights for me was the newly renovated bathrooms. They are modern, clean, and functional, giving the rooms an updated and fresh feel.
The beds were comfortable, ensuring I got a great night’s sleep to recharge for another day on the slopes. What I really appreciated was the spacious parking area right outside. It’s just a few steps to the inn’s entrances, which made unloading gear and luggage incredibly easy, especially after a long drive.
Fantastic Free Breakfast – Made to Order
One of the standout features of Mountain Sports Inn is the free breakfast.
Located in Lebanon, 4.7 miles from Dartmouth College, Quality Inn provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. This 2-star inn offers a 24-hour front desk.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
This is a great little inn close to downtown Woodstock. Our room was large, quiet, squeaky clean, with modern but cosy interior, large bathroom, really nice shower. Clearly a lot of thought went into the design. The hosts are very nice. They don't have hot breakfast but they leave yummy pastries and some other food in the room for breakfast, and you can also get coffee/tea and cookies any time. I might have eaten a few too many cookies! Parking was easy too.
My wife and I were planning a ski trip in Killington, and wanted to stay in Woodstock. It’s a city that has a ton of charm, and at a reasonable distance from the resort.
We loved our long weekend at the Inn. This is a beautiful BnB, it made us feel like we were at home. Rooms were comfy and Heather made sure we were well taken care of. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we would have definitely tried the tavern for dinner had we stayed longer.
10/10 recommend to anyone staying in the area!!
What a find! This well appointed Inn was more than we expected. Beautifully decorated with great rooms, it made our visit to Woodstock even more enjoyable. It is located along the main road to Woodstock center and close to all that the village has to offer. We had the opportunity to visit the tavern for a short time, but enjoyed the music and were immediately accepted by the locals. Heather was extremely helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommend a stay at The Village Inn of Woodstock
Breakfast wasn’t offered. We ate next door at the South Woodstock Store, which is always good.
I liked staying in the adirondak unit behind the Inn for easy access from the car and no stairs. We loved Ransom Tavern. Excellent food and wait staff.
I liked not having to check in or out as we were given a code to our room. In fact we never saw any staff other than at the Tavern.
My husband and I stayed here for our minimoon and we absolutely loved it! The property was historic and beautiful, breakfast was absolutely delicious every day, the tavern had amazing drinks, and location is unbeatable. The absolute best part about the Village Inn is the wonderful staff and especially the host, Heather. We stopped by the Tavern every night for a drink before dinner, and we ended up making some wonderful friends; all of whom were local friends of Heather and her husband. I couldn't recommend this place enough!
Cynthia is an excellent innkeeper who makes everyone feel welcomed. She has a very friendly dog who greets you every time you enter the house. Be aware that the two rooms share a bath room but that bath is quite large and has well-appointed fixtures. Also be prepared for a drive on a one-way bridge up a narrow road at quite a slope. My GPS did well finding the property but watch for curves and dips on the way up the hill to the inn.
Breakfasts were excellent and Heather’s skills as chef well displayed! The Inn hosted a party for our group in the tavern which included not only great food, charming & vivacious staff but even a caricaturist! Fun was had by all!
Very convenient yet peaceful location. Rooms were furnished and equipped to an exceptionally high standard which reflected excellent taste and vision for traditional style. An absolute gem. Breakfasts were imaginative, ample and superior to expected hotel fare. The innkeepers were helpful and proactive in satisfying guests’ needs. Jackson House sets the standard to which other establishments should strive to attain
love this property it is nestled in South Woodstock is and beautiful neighborhood. If you love stargazing this property is for you! There is a general store next door and the property has a tavern that serves pizza! They also have pet friendly rooms. Our pups loved the inn!
