We liked that it was a suite, with a livingroom area and a table. The size of the suite was also a plus, and the fact that it was on the first floor. The individual codes for entry were also convenient. The bed was comfortable and the towels were a nice quality (and plentiful). The lighting was very good in the unit.

33 Main was not only extremely comfortable and sylishly appointed, but also well positioned for any exploration of the Berkshires in general. The breakfast at the hotel itself was fantastic, and Lenox boasts several excellent restaurants that we enjoyed in the evenings.

Location, staff, room size, and porch. The inn is walking distance from town. The last day I met a couple from England that were pleasant conversation but others barely greeted you in the morning.

This is a very beautiful farm-stay. Please don't expect a typical hotel here - the feel is closer to a bed & breakfast, to some extent.
The main attraction is really threefold: people, environment and location. The owner, Michael, is a very nice and exceedingly accommodating gentleman. He went above and beyond for us (quite literally). This property is conveniently located just off the main local highway; Tanglewood & Lenox are ~20 minutes way, very good restaurant is only a couple of miles away. But chances are that you won't want to leave this place as soon as you arrive. There is very lively cascading spring "hopping" by the house, and you could hike up for a better view. The house itself offers a very good library and amazing music room (with scenic views of the brook) through regular and stained windows. The music room contains 2 large gongs, Tibetan singing bowls and other instruments. And the people on the farm are very kind and welcoming.
