Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The room was ample, the bathroom was a very nice size, the bed was comfortable. and it is in close proximity to places we wanted to see. Close to the river walk which we used when we went out for dinner.
The Forsyth Inn is a great location. We rented a car so parking was tricky due to street sweeper days due to street parking option. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My daughter has some tricky food allergies and was greeted to a healthy breakfast each day.
Very spacious, clean and in the great location. In all my travels I have never found a staff as wonderful as they were at Olde Harbour Inn. Friendly and helpful we were truly made to feel at home.
We absolutely loved our stay at Forsyth Park Inn. A beautiful historic inn, overlooking Forsyth Park. Our room was huge, the bed super comfortable, and the staff were incredible and were so helpful, with a great knowledge of Savannah and many spot on recommendations. My highlight was having our delicious breakfast on the patio every morning, as well as the complimentary wine & hors d'oeuvre each afternoon. It was so peaceful and relaxing overlooking the park. Such great hospitality, we can't wait to visit again one day!
Planters Inn has the best staff. Like most places staffing is an issue, but these folks really went above and beyond expectations. I laughed and talked with them for hours during our stay. The location is great! In the heart of the historic district, next to Reynolds Square and the Olde Pink House restaurant and tavern. Also, just a short walk from the DOT, the free bus. It was in walking distance of most the great restaurants and specialty stores.
Lovely historic inn. The location was excellent - close to everything and across from a lovely park. The room was spacious and comfortable. I liked the complimentary wine happy hour, although I think the quality of the wine could be improved with little cost.
The patio was lovely as well, great place to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner.
