The location of the hotel was perfect. We could reach everything perfectly by foot.
Moreover, there were cookies and coffee in the lobby in the evening.
The bed was really comfortable and the staff was super friendly.

Probably the friendliest, warmest welcome we have ever received at a hotel. Kara,Dan and the rest of the team were amazing with advice to us as first time visitors to Savannah. The 16 room property was built in 1855 and retains a real southern hospitality, a real homely feel. We had a “traditional double “ room on the ground floor. Very spacious with two beds, table and chairs, wardrobe, dressing table and a lovely fireplace. Bathroom with shower over bath. There was no fridge in our particular room ,however we were provided with plenty of ice from the kitchen for our cool box. Some rooms are pet friendly and our room was also wheelchair friendly for guests requiring an accessible room. Tea and coffee available in the morning and complementary wine and soft drinks available for happy hour early evening. Breakfasts are amazing and huge , so have a big appetite. Lovely outdoor seating and gazebo, free parking in hotel grounds. The location is beautiful in a residential area , a short and lovely walk into the town which is quite busy so it was nice to be staying in a more peaceful environment. Would recommend the hop on/hop off trolley tour and one of the stops is directly outside . The hotel will provide you with a discount voucher and arrange for a transfer to the main trolley depot. Lots of history to this lovely part of Georgia so the trolley tour is worth considering.
This Savannah area hotel is located 2 miles from the Savannah Municipal Golf Course. The hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool and guest rooms with refrigerators.

The location is great! I stayed there a week and had to rebook the next night and all but the last night in a different room was really pleasant.

nothing!!!!! we never stayed at this location because it was not a very good room and was dated about 20 years ago. It was a one room location with everything in one room per say and had a odor
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The room was ample, the bathroom was a very nice size, the bed was comfortable. and it is in close proximity to places we wanted to see. Close to the river walk which we used when we went out for dinner.
The Forsyth Inn is a great location. We rented a car so parking was tricky due to street sweeper days due to street parking option. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My daughter has some tricky food allergies and was greeted to a healthy breakfast each day.
Very spacious, clean and in the great location. In all my travels I have never found a staff as wonderful as they were at Olde Harbour Inn. Friendly and helpful we were truly made to feel at home.
We absolutely loved our stay at Forsyth Park Inn. A beautiful historic inn, overlooking Forsyth Park. Our room was huge, the bed super comfortable, and the staff were incredible and were so helpful, with a great knowledge of Savannah and many spot on recommendations. My highlight was having our delicious breakfast on the patio every morning, as well as the complimentary wine & hors d'oeuvre each afternoon. It was so peaceful and relaxing overlooking the park. Such great hospitality, we can't wait to visit again one day!
Planters Inn has the best staff. Like most places staffing is an issue, but these folks really went above and beyond expectations. I laughed and talked with them for hours during our stay. The location is great! In the heart of the historic district, next to Reynolds Square and the Olde Pink House restaurant and tavern. Also, just a short walk from the DOT, the free bus. It was in walking distance of most the great restaurants and specialty stores.
Lovely historic inn. The location was excellent - close to everything and across from a lovely park. The room was spacious and comfortable. I liked the complimentary wine happy hour, although I think the quality of the wine could be improved with little cost.
The patio was lovely as well, great place to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner.
