Blind Tiger Portland - Carleton Street, hotel in Portland

Beautifully decorated and atmospheric hotel. The bed was gigantic and very comfy, and the room more spacious than anticipated. Despite being fully booked, the house felt quiet and private. The snack bar was fully loaded every day - a real treat. Location was fantastic; very easy to explore the city by foot. Staff were readily available throughout our stay, and nice to communicate with.

Staff very nice. It's a historical smaller building like a real old timey inn, so there are no refrigerators but there is a nice kitchen downstairs for everyone to use. Was very clean with option for private bathroom. Was very nicely decorated like an old inn. Rooms do have kcups and tvs. If you don't need a full hotel experience a room here is perfectly fine.

Holiday Inn was a short walk to Old Port. It was one of the few options with two queen beds, which is a nice plus for a family of four. Priced better than other nearby hotels.

Great amenities, good food recommendations, nice patio for after dinner drinks. Loved it. There is a $35 daily fee that can cover food expenses at the restaurant.

It may have been a nice inn back in its hay-day the day, but a bit updating would be nice. Such as new carpets and the AC units, which gave my tiny room a horrible odor. Breakfast option was okay.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The overall experience is quite similar to other Hampton Inns we've stayed at before. The room is spacious with two comfortable queen-size beds, and it's quiet at night, allowing us to sleep well without interruptions. The location is also very good, central to downtown and the wharf.

We were able to walk to a Festival at Thompson’s Point from the hotel and then for dinner we were able to walk to a great BBQ place a block from the hotel.

The sort of thing you expect from a Hampton Inn. The location is great for the waterfront area. Also thought the included breakfast was better than most. Reasonable value too
