Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
It's a cheaply priced hotel (hotel, not a motel like some Red Roof Inns, so that's nice). You get what you pay for. It's totally acceptable, but nothing crazy nice. I would be fine coming here again for a trip to Leesburg, it's a completely okay hotel, and it's $80 cheaper than the hotels next door.
This is a simple room above an old-school tavern. It is a great overnight pit stop kind of place. Staff are friendly and breakfast was great. It might get a little more noisy on the weekends, but otherwise, thumbs up.
The location of this inn is superb, right in the middle of the city. Ample parking in city parking garage at very reasonable rates behind the inn. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.
Great location and had a wonderful historical charm. The decor and tall ceilings were beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The room rate included breakfast, which was made to order and served in the attached Kings Tavern Cafe.
The staff were warm and welcoming. The long history of Leesburg Inn anded to the wonderful experience of staying in historical Leesburg. Staying at Colonial Leesburg Inn felt safe and the location made it perfect for my get away. Leesburg Inn has an old fashion “down home feel,” like a visit with family, one to one human communications. The Colonial Leesburg Inn is old fashion and charming. I was fascinated with the opportunity to “step back in time,” to enjoy a period of yesteryear. A very relaxing environment.
Friendly and attentive staff, loved the crepes for breakfast. We enjoyed watching a football game and dining in the tavern. We found the rustic environment to be casual and inviting. We felt welcomed by the tavern staff, enjoyed the food and felt right at home the entire evening. The location in the historic district was an added plus. The proximity to the parking deck was convenient. Oh, and we liked the linens and towels, fluffy and clean.
I really didn't expect too much when booking this Inn, but overall we had a good time. The made to order breakfast was phenominal and included in the price. If we would have paid cash for breakfast, the bill was $40. So the value was great. Pretty clean overall and we enjoyed the Tavern downstairs. I would stay again if they got a new bed
