Lake Placid Inn: Main Street, hotel in Lake Placid

Located in Lake Placid, a 19-minute walk from Lake Placid, Lake Placid Inn: Main Street has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking.

This was my second time staying at the LP Inn - Main Street. The location is very convenient right in town across from the Olympic Museum. There is ample parking available. The room and bedrooms are quite spacious and vey comfortable. The room is well equipped but the decor is pretty sparse and cold. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the place was very clean.

We went to the restaurant for dinner, but none of the items that were on the website were available at the restaurant. We ended up going somewhere else.

Speaking to a general audience, if one desires a place to sleep only, the Lake Placid Inn's saving grace is its proximity to the Village and venues. We are in our 70s, yet we can walk through the Village and back to the inn leisurely and safely. Tourist-type driving within the Village portends a nightmare. Public parking is virtually nonexistent. Therefore, it proved beneficial to the hotel within the Village proper. The friendly and competent staff did their best to ensure a comfortable stay.

Staff was wonderful. Great location between Main st attractions and Mt Vanhovenberg. Close to Lisa G's a must for dinner. Lovely, cozy bar/lounge. Loved the refrigerator in the room and hot water in shower was amazing. Beautiful view from our room. They offer nice big towels for the sauna and will try to get it hot for you on request. Single pour over coffee, tea and kettle in rooms. They even gave me a bottle of oatmilk to keep in the room for my coffee.
