Breakfast was very nice. Good food and plenty of it. The wait staff at breakfast was attentive and quick to assist if the need arose. The room was comfortable and pretty. But you could hear people thru the ceiling and walls. Check in and out was quick and easy. And the location was close to all we wanted to do. We stayed in the lake house, not the main inn.
This hotel is 4 miles from Ithaca College and within a 15-minute drive to Cornell University. The hotel has a playground, barbecue facilities and rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
At $500.00 a night I expect help bringing in my luggage! There wasn’t even a luggage cart for us to use. Also the service at a very pricy dinner was lax. We waited so long for our dessert while our waiter chatted at another table that we decided to forget about having it. Also, at the included buffet breakfast there was no one offering coffee refills but there were signs on every table asking for gratuities, for what I don’t know.
The dinner options were really good, especially after a long day of driving and feeling exhausted. The dinner staff was super attentive and very friendly.
The Argos Inn is cozy and quaint with great character. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was great for both walking and driving. Very happy we stayed there.
The Inn at Taughannock is magical. From its location high atop Taughannock State Park, to its reimagined historic property this is first-class at every step of your stay.
A clean comfortable room a 6 minute drive from downtown Ithaca. Friendly, helpful staff. The on-site restaurant/tavern was closed for renovations so it was a quiet stay. The Meadow Court Inn was a good base for our visit, we did a lot of hiking and exploring Ithaca.
