Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The breakfasts were delicious. My room was cute, historical, bed was very comfortable and AC was superb There was no tiny fridge or coffee maker but the Vendiver Inn is supposed to feel like home so those items were not essential. One could get coffee, cold water, and munches in the reception room I loved staying there. Especially the little balcony off of my room. It felt like home and i will definitely stay there again on my next trip.

Lovely old mansion on a pretty tree lined street. Very helpful and friendly innkeeper Bobby. Nice hot included breakfast that was cooked to order and served quickly, along with very good coffee! Complementary wine and cheese at cocktail hour. Spacious room with nice porch with comfortable wicker chairs. Comfortable bed and linens. Easy and free nearby parking. Nicely landscaped well kept grounds.
The inn was located within walking distance of all attractions. It was a lovely throwback to earlier times, with the main house built in 1886. The staff was friendly and welcoming. All together it was a very positive experience.
The staff was very kind and helpful. They supplied a heater for my mom's room since the room heater unit was not working. The inn was very clean. The breakfast was good.
Great experience! The staff was extremely friendly, kind, helpful, and welcoming. Coffee, tea, and to-go breakfast/snack options were great and we had a hot breakfast in the morning while we sat on the front porch of the mansion, which was perfect! The room was clean with a very comfortable bed! Great tub to soak in. The property is so pretty too! Overall, wonderful experience and we are looking forward to coming back in the near future! Thank you Vandiver Inn staff!
