Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The Inn was very charming; we enjoyed the coziness and comfort provided while there. If ever around that area again, we know where we will be staying! It was an excellence all around experience at a great price!
I loved the view from the cabin and our own personal grill for dinner. I also enjoyed meeting Kendal and Joe. Super nice people and extremely helpful in every way.
We liked the location just a 5 minute drive from town....it is a very peaceful spot. We started a conversation with 3 other guests sitting around the fire pit (they had lit a wonderful fire) and spent a couple of hours enjoying the outdoors. I would advise travelers to check out the hotel website and look at the picture to have an idea of the grounds. A couple of grills are available for guests who would like to fix food and have dinner on the spot.
Breakfast was great as well. Many options.
The location of the hotel was good. Quite a few lunch and dinner options nearby. We didn't use any of the facilities like the gym or the hot tub so we can't say anything about those. We left before 6:30 so no breakfast but we were able to get coffee for the road.
Quiet location, next to the highway and a golf course ... just a couple miles from Gunnison. The front desk staff are excellent. Breakfast was very good too. Building and rooms are showing their age and should be remodeled ... But the room was clean, quiet and I enjoyed my 1 night at the Gunnison Inn.
What is there not to like at The Inn at Tomichi Village. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. To be able to sit outside next to a fire pit in the evening was the best ever. Relaxing and better then a chain hotel stay.
I think your location near the train station is a great marketing opportunity for you. To me, the train ride up and back in one day is tiring for many people. You could offer some type of deluxe package that includes a night stay, tickets, special dinner, etc. Just a thought ...
Our room was comfortable and offered us lots of room. The free breakfast and parking were great. The Inn had a lovely seating area in front with large shade trees, fire pit, corn hole, and comfortable rocking chairs. Their location was right off the highway with easy access into town. It was also quiet.
Two comfortable beds. Inn was located on spacious layout with things to do (e.g., play corn hole) in the grassy center. Staff were very helpful.
