Breakfast was the usual fried eggs(?) and sausage. But was good and fresh. They were doing renovations so a little messy but the breakfast room is adorable.
Conveniently located in downtown Fruita and only minutes from the Colorado National Monument and some of the best biking on the Western Slope, Balanced Rock Inn offers clean, comfortable rooms, free...

Very quiet area with sufficient little kitchenette. I also liked that you could have a bonfire, although I didn’t since I was traveling alone. Very safe area, and a comfortable bed.
Close to Grand Mesa and Colorado Monument without staying in the mountains.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We LOVED it! New clean and great hotel! Trish was awesome checking us in, helping with a place for dinner and laundry!
We enjoyed a game of pool and Pac Man! The breakfast was delicious and loved how the lobby was open
The bedroom was simple, nice, and clean, featuring a convenient small kitchenette with a sink. Plus, its proximity to the interstate was convenient. Excellent dinner nearby.
Faucet was mostly clogged. Floor was a disaster in the bathroom and beginning in other room. Beds were okay but not top notch. WiFi was inconsistent but sufficient for most needs, no large downloads.
Great price, the room was clean, good water pressure. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and very accommodating.
The coffee ran out during breakfast and he was quick to refill it without us asking.
When looking for a room for the night, the most important things I look for are price, safety, cleanliness, and the qualities of the staff. This Inn far exceeded my expectations, and I would stay here again.
This is the best Hampton Inn I've stayed at. Right on Main Street and walkable to shops and restaurants. They offer covered parking with easy access into the hotel. Great breakfast, very clean and comfortable room.
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I'd never stayed at a Quality Inn before. My room was clean, airy, quiet and comfortable. The hot breakfast ordered plenty of food options and was kept tidy.
