Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Having seen so many TV commercials about the breakfasts at these hotels I expected the same type of breakfast. At this Comfort Inn, the milk for the cereal came out of a little box (with a straw) as opposed to a pitcher; it was not make-your-own waffles but frozen ones; there was no fruit (apples, oranges or bananas). I did like that there was yogurt and I did like the bread, muffins and bagels were all individually wrapped and not just laying in a drawer. Decent breakfast but not displayed nor same products as one sees on the television ads.
Since we travel to visit our daughter, Comfort Inn is closest to them. I like having breakfast and the Jimmy Dean sandwiches which they switched to because of the pandemic are adequate. I miss the cookies.
Convenient to I-70 & I-270 with lots of restaurants within half a mile. The spacious handicap accessible room was very clean and the bathroom was very spacious and spotless. Enjoyed the breakfast offered by Sleep Inn. Will stay here again.
Parking was a breeze, plenty of street spaces. Cozy atmosphere, with eclectic (maximalist?) décor but does not feel overwhelming or stuffy. It just feels familiar and comfortable. I stayed in the Ross Room, which was roomy, well appointed, with comfy bed and just beautiful. Breakfast was perfect, with wide selection of home cooked offerings. The dinning room setting could not have been more befitting of this Victorian setting. Chefs kiss.
The facility was great, could use some upgrades. The staff was friendly and accommodating especially at the front desk. Cara was exceptional, She was professional, friendly, caring and accommodating. It was a pleasure to speak with her, she was attentive to our requests. I would most definitely return to this location hoping to see Cara again. Cara is a representative of Hampton Inn Frederick and a definite asset to your organization!
The cleanliness was great as was the location. In a nice area with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch or dinner very nearby. The room was spacious and well appointed.
