Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Owner checked us in and allowed us to modify our multi-day reservation. She was super friendly and gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner at a local restaurant off of the main street. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast waffle maker and yogurt was nice bonus.
Holiday Inn Express turned out to be perfect - clean, comfy, QUIET (a biggie), and the staff were lovely. It was a welcome, reliable stop in any location along a long road trip. HIE will be our go-to.
I was traveling to Montana for a family issue; Trey was Very helpful in getting me checked in. The staff are pleasantly professional and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet and felt safe.
Thank you Gold Country Inn for providing the comfort an safety in my travels.
The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially our waitress for dinner and our waitress for breakfast. Customer service was great. The breakfast choices that came with the room were excellent. The room was clean.
Plenty of free parking, although the hotel is dated it is exceptionally clean. The beds were firm enough and the TV (for my kids) was huge. I try to travel on the cheaper side of things and this was priced very competitively. I checked in late - stopped at battle mountain owl club for dinner (recommend the jalapeño soup) but even though it was late during a holiday travel week - I was greeted by a kind employee who was patient with my kids.
The staff was great, the room was very clean, the breakfast deal was awesome. Dinner restaurant was a tad expensive so we had to go across the street where the food was very good and priced good too.
