Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Upon first seeing the Alaska Frontier Inn from the highway, it looked a bit rundown and like a 1950-style motel. However, in this case, don't judge a book by its cover. The room was very well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The wifi worked well and I was wishing I could actually stay more than one night.
This was an ultra-modern suite in a roadside inn. It had exceptional bedding, towels, small appliances and furnishings. We had a very comfortable stay.
I was very impressed with this property, my room and customer service. I live in Alaska, passing through Delta Junction on occasional road trips. Having found Alaska Frontier Inn this most recent trip, booking last minute, and enjoying such ease and comfort, I will absolutely always check with them first for availability for any overnight stay in the future. I have already recommended this Inn to friends in Alaska. Alaska Frontier Inn is a gem!
This is a nice location in Delta Junction. The hotel office/breakfast area is rather quaint and the "free" breakfast is better than "free" breakfast at your typical Fairfield/springhill/Comfort Inn type place in Alaska...
The staff make the main breakfast entree fresh each morning, coffee is via K cups, and there are some pastries /cereal options. the seating area is a comfortable environment.
Booking.com price was lower than over the phone quote. No AAA or military discount offered when I asked.
