The property is 700 metres from the city centre and 400 metres from Anchorage Historic Depot. Was really happy with the size of the room, the cleanliness, the amenities provided, the location, the check-in process was quick and simple and the lady that managed it was extremely friendly! Would not hesitate to stay here again. Location couldn't have been more perfect, just short walk away from the train and everything else in the city. There was even a kettle provided, which was not the standard in most of the accommodations/hotels I stayed in, in Alaska.

There is a park next to the inn with a stream running through it that is very pretty. Maria was friendly and served a nice breakfast. We met the other guests at breakfast each morning and had nice chats about our activities the day before. The room has a small fridge for keeping leftovers.
Everything room was exceptionally clean. Everything in the “shared” portion which is essential the dinning room was absolutely spotless. The location is right next to a park with a beautiful creek as a view which was great. The breakfast in the morning is most definitely in my opinion the best part even with everything else being great. The food and coffee was freshly made and absolutely delicious by the very nice owner Maria, and we had some of the best conversations ive had in a long time with her husband Robert.

A rustic character to this hotel with some facilities for self catering. Within a block and a half of good bus service between the airport and downtown.
Great experience overall! We had lunch, helicopter tour, dinner and stay. Stuff has nice and helpful in the weeks prior and during the stay. Having your cabin looking over the helicopters and to the mountains is a unique view. The cabin was comfortable and clean. Convenient restaurant on site. We chatted with the owner and he brought a recliner chair to our cabin for my pregnant wife. Above and beyond! Fully recommended.
Beautiful property, ideally located so close to the train station and walkable restaurants/tour sites. Room amenities were outstanding. Innkeeper was so nice and helpful. Especially loved the lounge set-up and the snacks/breakfast available. Everything was outstanding!
Pick up from the Train Station and taken to the hotel. All on time. Great historic inn and great location. Excellent restaurant.
