The history of the building was very interesting & the location was perfect for where and what we wanted to visit. The hotel was nicely appointed, not trendy or stuffy. We enjoyed looking at all the memorabilia from the olden days. The bar/dining was excellent. Fair prices, good food and service. Even though we did not bring our dogs, this place is very dog friendly. And, we loved the rocking chairs out on the patio. The live music was wonderful. We really had a great long weekend here. It was our 1 year wedding anniversary and we'll definitely be back!

Blowing Rock, NC has a lot to offer regionally. The Victorian Inn is in an excellent location for walking to shops. It's a good place to escape the southern summer heat. Online communication with staff was always available. Room imenities included a coffee maker in room, large bathroom with walk in shower, big screen smart TV with lots of options. Great potential.

Breakfast and dinner were fine. Breakfast service was a little off. Toast was not hot enough to melt the cold solid butter. Had to ask for salt and pepper, both of which should have already been on the table. Coffee was extremely weak but the waitress did an excellent job of bringing some much stronger and better coffee.

Rustic, comfortable feel. Loved the concierge closet at Timberlake Inn with free coffee, water, soft drinks and ice cream. The jetted soaking tub was great. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent!
