Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Pretty good breakfast (apart from the coffee). The manager on duty at check in was great with good english & he recommended a superb restaurant for dinner.
The hotel is a bit dated but but vey clean & suited our group perfectly. Secure parking.
The room was excellent, spacious and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was full of great choices and options. My husband loved the pool , we have been before and was one of the main reasons for going back.
The room was very large and well-equipped, and the decor, although dated, had a certain charm. Had very tasty home-style dinner in the piano bar. Breakfast buffet was superb with extensive range of hot and cold items including bacon, cakes, pastries, cereals, cheese, ham, fresh juices. Staff were really helpful, including allowing us to have our breakfast before the official start time because we had to leave really early. Pool looked lovely, but unfortunately didn't have time to use.
Very quiet, comfortable and relaxing stay. Host was very informative and helpful. Evening dinner excellent in quality, taste and service. Location of property within easy walking distance from town centre.
Not too easy to find using sat navigation but we managed. Hope to return.
Very very good value for money. Great food for both dinner and breakfast. Perfect for a stop off to break the journey driving from Portugal to Santander to get the ferry. The hotel is a 70s time capsule and I hope it stays that way as it is a real experience. We loved it! Massive bedrooms and very clean everywhere.
Easy walk into town. Had a lovely stroll to the park (Fonte?). Dinner at one of the best restaurants we've had in Portugal, yet-- 100 Papas Linguas. The staff was VERY accommodating. Parking onsite was very good.
Very nice hotel with a very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was very good, and the dinning hall itself is really nice with a great view to the garden. We had an overnight stay as a starting point to our journey to Douro valley after arrived from Lisbon, and it was perfect for us.
We had dinner at the hotel where the waiters were very helpful professional and friendly.
We were impressed with the hotel - it was nicer then we expected and had access to a lovely pool. The room had a nice balcony.
