Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The size of rooms is only for 3 person (requested is for 4) = sleeping in fold=out sofa for 2 persons is out of standard, I think.
Comunication with owner is only via w.a. in the beginning and in the end (only automatic message about process of starting and leaving)- no interest during our 11 days to confirm the status (I didn't contact him also)
The location was fantastic. The view of the pool and the ocean was incredible. It’s a nice place to stay if you are interested in going on hikes and to some of the nearby beaches. There is a restaurant in the complex if you want to have a snack or dinner.
It was wonderful to live here. I really liked having a bathtub and hot water for her. Paulo was very friendly and helpful, and allowed us to use the kitchen refrigerator. He cooked a gorgeous huge dinner! There are very tasty buns for breakfast. There was a number in the room and we were being cleaned. From the Windows there is a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains. I would love to come back)
Paulo is a great host, he was always available for his guests. On request he also prepared phantastic dinners. The rooms are simple, but clean and perfect value for the price. Breakfast was good.
This booking is a blessing. The hotel - sitting on a hill facing the ocean, surrounded by greenery mountains, in a quiet town away from the crowds - is exactly what you are looking for if you’re running away from noisy cities.
Most importantly you will be greeted by the greatest host, Paulo. I had hiccups at the beginning of my trip, but, and with his beautiful soul, he brightened it up. He will make sure that you have a comfortable stay and incredible journey with his recommendations.

Cute, calm, quiet, incredibly tasty place in a small village on probably the most gorgeous coast of Madeira. Paulo is a fabulous and caring host. He showed all nearby possible hikes including challenging Poco das Pulgas and drove to few farthier levadas. Be sure to order at least one of Paulo the Chef dinners from local products and mostly available only to hotel's guests. Madeiran Stake with mashed potatoes and vegetables is truly gastronomic experience.
The accommodation has everything you need. The price is very competitive. The breakfast is extensive and the host cooks you even dinner to your desire if you order it on time. The host is really amazing and makes you feel good. Also his partner is very nice and the cats are cute ;)
Definitely I can recommend it without hesitation if you like to be in a quiet area.
