A wonderful opportunity to experience the mountains and the Schist villages in central Portugal. The accommodation was authentic and comfortable- our host Gabriel and his lovely Mother were a pleasure to communicate with.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower lovely!
We are of average fitness but managed to do the 9km loop walk through the main villages which was absolutely beautiful.
The village of Pena is so peaceful and and scenic. I would highly recommend this accommodation and experience- it is an absolutely unique!

Simply amazing place to stay for 7 motorcyclists. Ample secure parking on site.
We booked as an apartment villa and had a double room each. Facilities were excellent and honesty system in place for beer, wine, snacks etc. Very modern and clean throughout....1 min walk to town and nearby supermarket/bakers etc.

Lovely, modern facilities, spectacular views, lovely staff, nice restaurant.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The house was really well decorated, and everything was very clean. The host was very kind, and even left us recently made soup so we could dinner.
The whole property was also lovely.
For the price, it was a bargain.
The beauty of this little village on a river in the mountains was a surprise. Loved this little inn...mountain river decor, lots of hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. Loved the little balcony. Comfy bed. Great bathroom. We wil return!
