If you want four in one: a very nice apartment, a delicious varied breakfast, a great location, and a friendly atmosphere, you should stay at B&B El Olivar. The owner, Joseph, is a smiling, friendly, and extremely attentive man. On the first day, he kindly drove us around San Isidro to familiarize us with the area. The next day, my husband felt sick. Joseph took us to the hospital, helped us communicate with doctors, and sort out insurance issues. We felt so comfortable under his care that we decided to stay with him for a few more days. We had wonderful impressions not only from Lima but also from communicating with a pleasant and interesting person who knows the history of Peru.

The room was quiet with a very comfortable bed. The room was clean, the wifi was quick, had opening windows. The towels were large and thick. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport and there were plenty of places nearby to eat dinner. I would definitely stay again if travelling through Lima.
Very nice staff. Surprisingly very good food at dinner, better than some of the highly rated restaurants. Comfortable bed. Good location. Relatively quiet until we got a neighbor who screamed at his female partner in the middle of the night. Safe secure parking garage with no additional charge. We plan to stay here again
The location was great, close to shopping which was a bonus. The breakfast and dinner was good, and although the rooms do need a bit of updating they were spacious and well set out. Would recommend and would stay again.
Location is so good! We can walk to lots of restaurents and beach. The breakfast is good, we all like passion fruit!
But the room we stayed in the first night was so bad, the bathroom was so wet and so small, and the the wooden floor of the room is uneven and often noisy. I remember it is the innermost room on the 3rd floor.
Absolutely perfect hotel. 5 star quality without being pretentious. Former mansion turned into boutique hotel. Staff is great and very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Afternoon tea time was a hit with my wife. Rooms are big and well appointed. We spent 10 days in Peru and my wife's favorite thing she purchased on the trip was the stuffed toy Llama they leave in every room. We stayed at Hotel B at the beginning of our trip and every picture I took of her with her backpack on had the to llama in it
