Nice indoor patio with hammocks and greenery. Friendly staff. Able to buy breakfast and drinks at the little café. Location right near the beach - you could hear the waves at night. It seemed eco-friendly. There was a book exchange.

The location was unique and quiet. Mosquitos not so bad considering it is in the mangroves. Cooking facilities were adequate. I was able to stay until 5pm as I had an overnight bus. Choose to the beach and restaraunts.

We stayed 20 days (after 10 days in Oaxaca city). It is not too far from the beaches but far enough from the nightime noises. We slept really well due to quiet environment and effective ceiling fan and ac. Owner is kind and helpful. We highly recommend Casa Aldairis

Stunningly beautiful location overlooking a small private beach and an easy walk into Zipolite town. Very comfortable rooms with excellent air conditioning and breakfast included. . Two small pools to relax in and great options for lunch and dinner at the sister hotel very close by. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful
Corrine is a friendly and helpful host and her guest house is clean and cosy being an interesting almost tree house design. Nice relaxing balconies with hammocks. 2 minutes stroll to the peaceful sunset end of the beach. Comfortable and welcoming. Recommended.
Great hotel in an amazing location. One side of the hotel is right on the clothing optional beach and the other side is onto the main strip in Zipolite. This is a fairly basic but clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Restaurants and shops are just steps away from the front of the hotel. No long walks to get drinking water, Zipolite is a very chilled out location, lots of people barefoot and no need to get dressed up for dinner. Would definitely return to this great value gem of a hotel.
Posada Mexico is located on the best part of the Zipolite beach with lounge chairs and umbrella to while away the day. The restaurant offered breakfast & dinner although there are many other choices within minutes. The bungalows with netting are comfortable and cold showers welcome on the hot days. Would have loved to stay longer than 2 nights.
We loved Lo Cosmico! Violeta was an extremely helpful and wonderful host. She organized a tour for us and offered plenty of recommendations. Sleeping with the sounds of the waves every night was great. Being right on the beach is such a treat. It's definitely a bit more rustic than other options in Zipolite, but that's the charm of Lo Cosmico. It is one of the (if not THE) first hotels on the beach, so you feel like you're on a true getaway during the good old days (aka before we were born lol)
Lo Cosmico was quiet and gorgeous. The wooden cabins are rustic and simple and we had 9 days of totally chilled out beach life. Violeta and her family were super friendly and helpful. Thank you! We’ll be back.
The location is spectacular. Great little shop across the road, reasonably priced food and drinks on the beach at Lola’s, great tacos a short distance down the main road. Corinna is lovely, the ambiance and decorative details are delightful. Huge pieces of amethyst, dream catchers, art… we loved our stay.
I loved my stay here. I was here for 8 days and had a really positive experience. All of the staff are so wonderful, accommodating, friendly and helpful. It’s definitely a little rustic, but so are most hostels! Super great location. Zipolite is amazing. Highly recommend. Also the dorms are super dark so great for sleeping. Lots of space for stuff.
Cute rustic hotel with everything you need for a few days in a tropical paradise. Location is great, just 1 min walk from both the beach and the road where you can catch a taxi/colectivo to the nearby locations. The rooms are basic but are clean and comfy. The host, Corinna, was very friendly and helpful!!
