A family managed small business and hosts were very accommodative. We booked both the rooms as a single room wasn't enough for 4 people as our stay was for 3 nights. Balcony view was breath taking an this is the highlight of the place which was overlooking Mahaweli river and Hunnasgiriya mountain. Sunrise was lovely to watch. Suvimal and his parents were ready assist anytime and made us very comfortable during our stay. Recommend Mahaweli View Inn to all travelers love a peaceful stay away from city buzz. from this place, you can reach to city center in 15 minutes by a car.
Breakfast was lovely and Suvimal's mom cooked it for us for all three days. Hi Aunty, your food was delicious!!

This is our second visit to La pinchi this year, and I highly recommend it to both tourists and local travelers seeking a peaceful and wonderful stay. We stayed at Serenity Hills Oasis on our honeymoon. It was our first stop in Sri Lanka and the hospitality was AMAZING! Jayantha is a tremendous host. Her generosity is both genuine and abundant! She was incredibly kind, very informative and made sure we were taken care of. Her communication was great from start to end. The food that her team cooked up was so delicious and we were fed well for breakfast and lunch every day (and she made sure our driver was too). The room was comfortable and had everything we needed at a fair price. Highly recommend staying here!

Super value for money! The hosts were a very friendly! We could store a lot of our luggage at their place (because we went hiking) and they even put quite some effort to sent it to us via train all the way to Ella. That saved us a lot of time!!
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Well furnished and comfortable rooms. Immaculately clean, and they couldn’t be any more helpful, resetting our room everytime we went out. Lovely breakfast, and a modest pool which we had to ourselves every day.
We only eat breakfast here, and opposite is a large hotel where you can pay to go in and have their extensive buffet for dinner if you don’t want to drive into town.
Beautiful views and very nice family! The owner is so sweet and made sure we were happy. He dropped us to a restaurant and also dropped us at the bus station the next day. They cook breakfast and dinner and it was our favourite breakfast in Sri Lanka! They have a lovely rustic kitchen for your use if you wish, we loved it. Wifi is a bit iffy but that’s okay. We loved our stay!

It’s a really nice guest house with a really nice family. It’s up the hill so at night you will hear only sounds of nature. You can order a dinner. I asked about rice with vegetables and it was really tasty.
Breakfast consists of fruits, avocado, toasts.
Room could look a bit shabby but it’s clean.
The price is nice and reasonable.
We had a great experience at Villa49. Shanani and Upi are very welcoming hosts and are always there to help. The guest house is located quite central in Kandy, with all exciting sightseeing points within walking distance range.

lovely pool, clean and good temperature. Interior decor really nicely done, with modern yet rustic feel. Dinner served at the hotel was excellent, a good selection of traditional SriLankan curry dishes and Rice. Gaya the host and other staff were all both helpful and friendly.
Uniquely built little rustic boutique hotel, over looking the Kandy Lake with the view of the Tooth Temple across the lake. Superb staff, very friendly and warm towards their guests. No fixed hours for lunch or dinner, restaurant is open whenever guests wish to have a meal. We tried various things from the restaurant menu, they were all quite delicious, and reasonably priced. Very happy with the place and the service.

We have lost our way rather late in the evening, and couldn’t find guest house. But owner picked us up.
Highly recommend dinner here, it’s very tasty local food.
