The guest house is located away from the main road, and a small distance from town, situated on a quiet hillside facing a mountain and a gushing waterfall in the nearby distance. One can hear the sound of water rushing and birds singing. A beautiful view and very pleasant surroundings. Breakfast was beyond bountiful and fresh. Very satisfying

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Having delicious breakfast and dinner at a large table with other guests was a nice experience.
Also the family running the place are really lovely, friendly and helpful in any way. They also genuinely enjoy the company of their guest which is heart warming.
The view out of most of the rooms is breathtaking.

Amazing view, fantastic food (definitely have dinner here) and lovely people. Haputale is an underrated destination with many amazing things to see and do.
Aerie Cottage was a wonderful old spacious bungalow with 2 bedrooms which suited my sister and I. Delicious breakfast served to us on terrace with an amazing view over tea plantations, mountains and lakes. Our dinners were served in our own dining room by our chef. Our every need during our 3 day stay was met by our `House boy' Rada. Beautiful walks in the tea plantations.
We stayed at Vantage Hills for two nights and had a brilliant time. The hotel was so peaceful and was the perfect place to relax after hiking and exploring the area. The service was excellent. Chathura made sure that we had everything we needed and organised a tuk tuk to take us to our starting point for the Pekoe trail. The Sri Lankan breakfast was really delicious, as was our dinner. I will be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Haputale.
Short walk to town, nice view on terrace. Really lovely hosts and really good curry for dinner. We also were able o be picked up to get to the guest house and leave our bags for free.
