Everything was amazing here and we felt like at home. Very quiet and comfortable stay and lovely owners. Breakfast was huge and delicious. WiFi worked very well and we loved that each room had own drinkable water in big canisters inside the room so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Lots of flower decorations everywhere which makes stay very lovely, we stayed 4 nights and if they weren’t fully booked we would extended the stay without doubt. This was the best stay we had during our trip in Sri Lanka and no wonder this place has such a nice reviews.

Wonderful place ! The room was very cozy and quiet yet really spacious. Huge balcony, magnificent pool, kitchen and on top of that a beautiful lovely host family! Everything was spotless clean, we got non stop fresh towels,,the area is wonderful - couldn’t ask for more. We enjoyed our stay are were sad while leaving. Highly recommended!

The location is absolutely fantastic; you're just a stone's throw away from the beach, with a mere 20-meter walk. However, the accommodation itself is somewhat dated and lacks comfort. I recommend investing in renovations to elevate the quality of the rooms. On a brighter note, the beach is truly stunning – serene, uncrowded, with a designated safe area for swimming, and it offers a perfect vantage point for witnessing breathtaking sunrises. Additionally, the staff is friendly and consistently available to assist guests, which is a definite plus.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
This was the most amazing place we loved it. Perched on the end of a headland it was a beautiful spot. Watching the waves crash on the rocks was spectacular. Rooms clean, got what I paid for. Buffet dinner and breakfast was amazing with plenty of selection. Pool was clean and choice of beaches either side. We loved the resident squirrels they were so cute.
We got a really good off-season deal which made the hotel excellent value for money for our stay, so I’m basing this review off the price we paid rather than full price! It’s a lovely resort, big, comfortable rooms. Lots of seating areas. A great shower. Lovely staff. Great buffet breakfast and dinner. Lovely pool area.
This place is brilliant, Amal and his family were excellent and lovely people. Even cooking us a free dinner on the last night which was super tasty! They helped us out with travel and our onwards plans, as well as arranging transport whilst in town.
I loved this beautiful property that is tucked away from the Main Street but still easily accessible. The rooms have a beautiful minimalist style and are very clean. I loved having breakfast in the garden everyday. Amil is a wonderful host and even cooked a Sri Lankan dinner for us one day since we made a special request for this. There is a cute little kitchen as well that guests can use to do some light cooking and make tea and coffee.
Had the best stay here at Mount Top. Such a lovely family running it. Big comfortable rooms. Access to a kitchen and a nice outside area to chill. The family are always happy to help and go out of their way to you. We even enjoyed breakfast and dinner with them for new year, which was such a nice gesture. Easy walking distance to hiriketiya and dickwella beach also shops and restaurants. High recommend.
Calma, true to its name, is incredibly calm and exactly what we were looking for during our stay. It's a small hotel with only two rooms and a very long beach practically exclusive to guests. The owner is lovely, and the staff promptly attended to any requests we had, especially regarding breakfast preferences. At night, the silence is enchanting. I highly recommend staying here for a few nights or simply visiting for beginner surfing.
Wow - what an amazing place to stay. The family were lovely, thank you to the 3 boys who cooked us breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent, make sure you eat there!
The accommodation is spacious and lovely. We got a welcome drink on arrival too.

Our stay at the Art House was very pleasant. The accomodation was very modern, clean, equipped with everything you need and surrounded by many beautiful plants. The Hosts are very friendly and recommended good dinner places to us. We really enjoyed our stay.
