It’s close to the red line sightseeing bus station and the local bus station, which is convenient if you don’t have a car. They have microwave and fridge in the room, very convenient too! 7-11 is just 1 min walk away.
Room is warm when we entered. They also provided hair dryer, toothbrush, cotton pad and some drinks

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The staff are all nice, helpful, and cheerful. Facilities are all amazing and thoughtful. The entire villa/camping unit is spacious. We especially like their bed and pillows, not soft, making us sleep like a baby. We stayed for two nights. They also changed dinner menu, which was very thoughtful and very appreciated too!
Perfect location. It was amazing to be so close to this beautiful mountain and watch it changing throughout the day. The onsens both have the best views. One has a sauna and mist room and ice cold plunge pools.
Rooms very comfortable with views of the mountain.
The reception staff were amazing and helped us navigate the bus booking to Tokyo.
Book ahead for dinner. All meals were very good.
I booked the private bathroom and this was amazing! The owner was polite and made us a traditional set dinner meal I had booked. The location is beautiful also; we chose Lake Yamanakako to avoid the busy other lakes; but drove around from here and it was close to everything. I really enjoyed the ryokan experience. Our room had a lovely view of the mountain, as does the rooftop; we got up early to watch the sun rise over it.
The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The warmth and hospitality provided a wonderful start to our stay.
The facilities, although a bit old, were maintained and clean. It was nice, that we could use bikes any time and for free. Overall, I highly recommend pension for anyone seeking budget-friendly lodging with a personal touch.
Even though it seems odd at the beginning, the fact to book a 55 min slot for the baths is great.
Like this you have all the pleasure to enjoy it by yourself.
To note that the shower is only available during the slot booked or in the morning but only during 7h30-9h00 am.
The meal is the best, we have included breakfast and dinner in our package and it’s so localize and we live it! The aunty and grandma is so friendly and kind , helpful. Definitely worth the price
- The location is great, provided you drive.
- Stunning views from room and 5min drive from convenient stores.
- Walkable to a very scenic photo spot with the view of Mt Fuji.
- Breakfast and dinner provided was hearty and filling
The guest house is right in front the Yamanakako and it is perfect view for Mount Fuji from your room. It is just a small guest house with 3 bedroom, a common area for relaxing and tiny kitchen with all the necessities eg oven, fridge and microwave. The host is a very nice young guy and speak very good English. He is very helpful, recommended nice dinner and activities around the guest house. He even use heater to warm the blanket prior our arrival, very thoughtful.
