This is an old communist style hotel. Tito has been sleeping here. It used to be the hotel for the rich, now for the not so rich like me. I had a wonderful time here. Swimming in the sea within a minute, very friendly and helpful staff, voluptuous breakfast. Great value, don't expect everything to be tip tip, for that you would pay much more.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The apartment is a recently refurbished one in an older ,inner city building. Very convenient for the Rijeka city centre experience and to get up to the Trsat area. It has all the mod cons. The check-in was the Covid era express - we entered the building via a series of codes so did not meet the host at all.
The host was very welcoming and responsive. Apartment is equipped with everything needed for a short stay, including things like salt and pepper and there are plenty of dishes for cooking and making your own dinner. Prepare to walk up the stairs some five floors and also it might be a little bit noisy to sleep with open windows but they do have functioning air conditioners.
A perfect appartment for a family for a longer stay.
There is a staircase and pathway for pedestrians to the promenade and small beaches. (It is being repaired in the beginning of July 2024 and will probably be ready by the end of July.)
The washing machine, dishwasher and fridge all work perfectly - an important nuance for a family vacation.

The apartment was great, very clean, comfy beds, and had everything we needed, the apt is located right in the old town so stores, restaurants and markets were very close.
The host was very friendly from the beginning, she helped us locate the best beaches and how to get to them :D
We booked dinner bed and breakfast. Table for two on the balcony overlooking the sea was lovely, and the waiting staff friendly. It is possible to swim in the beautifully clear sea straight off the sunbathing deck on the lower floor. The hotel has it's own small private beach, which was unexpected. We even managed to get a space in the hotel car park.
The location of the building is great, the view was just phenomenal. Everything was clean and the appartment was also really spacious. Having a coffee in the morning or a dinner at late evening while also looking at the view that this place offers was a unique experience. Also there was a bus stop near the place that can get you to the city center in about 15-20 minutes. Overall I highly recommend to choose this place for your stay at Rijeka.
