Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
I loved everything about the Zapote Tree inn. Not a 5 star hotel. But we were treated in 5 star style by Peter and the amazing Eric !! What a guy, he took care of everything from airport collections to trips etc
Excellent location and communal area was amazing with a great view of the lake. We had breakfast and dinner there one of the days and that was brilliant too.
Great place to stay around Flores. Zapote Tree Inn is in a quiet neighborhood, just a short boat ride from Flores island. You have Maya ruins, a nice viewpoint on Flores and a lovely beach close by. The owner was super nice and helpful.
Great stay at Amina Inn in Flores.
The owner is really friendly and helpful. He gave us good advices about the nearby activities and helped us organising a jungle trek in Nakum/Yaxha park, which was amazing !
The rooms are nice and clean. The location in Flores is perfect, close to everything !
Hostal inn 2 is a great hostel on Flores Island. Since everything is close on the island, it is in a very good location. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The dorm was very nice, with good beds, fan on each bed nice bathroom/ shower + lockers. The kitchen is also a great place to make your own meals. Great hostel for your time in Flores.
The Zapote Tree Inn is very quite on the other side of the lake. Everyone is really nice. They organised tours and transfers and help us with everything. So we felt like home.
The room has everything you need. The terrace with hammocks and great views is perfect to enjoy every time of the day.
Light went out on the island, and we requested candles on the front desk but they gave us a flashlight, so they were prepared for it. We went out to have dinner and light came back like 2 hours later.
The staff was very hospitable. They helped set up tours to the ruins and they pointed out how we could explore the area (nearby ruins, vista). The vibe was laid back. Breakfast and dinner options were good.
Wonderful hotel. The villas on the water are suberb, the hot tub is a huge plus. Service is good, we enjoyed room service. Breakfast was good, but not impressive. The dinner was okay- not perfect.
