We liked it so much we went back for a second night to break the journey back home. The staff do all they can for you! It’s a great set up with the rooms and your own outside seating. There is a pool and a room with a hot tub which was fab! Pub meals are available at the on-site pub with a lunch and dinner menu. A simple breakfast was included with the option of a cooked breakfast for a reasonable fee. We were too full from the pub dinner meal of the night before to have cooked breakfast.
Dogs are welcome guests which was brilliant!
If we’re in the area again we would stay again.

Characterful property in a pretty village. Good restaurant and bar. Dinner & breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent. Car Parking very good.

Staff were friendly and diligent. Our room and bathroom were great. I also booked a table for 6 at the Haycock Kitchen and the food and service was very good.

Great food, room spotless, all staff super friendly and helpful, gorgeous view onto fields at back. All in all a perfect place to stay while we visited Burghley Horse trials.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Nice country pub with rooms in an annex at the back. This is a really quaint country inn, run by some ultra friendly owners/staff who make a real effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Food was excellent. Rooms was clean and comfortable with the convenience of an a/c. Bathroom a little tired but everything worked.
Good value, simple but comfortable accommodation. Excellent food for evening dinner with continental breakfast included and chargeable cooked options also available. Really friendly welcome and service from the owners
