This is a homely place. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The staff are very accommodating and warm.
I stayed on a Saturday night, so I treated myself to Sunday lunch. What fabulous homemade food at such a good price!
I highly recommend this place for a taste of authentic Yorkshire hospitality.

Beds were warm and comfy and the linens were clean. Room is big enough for the 3 of us. Near tram and bus stop so convenient if you're using public transportation. Pub is just downstairs if you're into that and you can't hear the noise from your room. I specifically chose this hotel because there were 3 beds for each of us. Most hotels I saw were 1 queen/king and an extra bed. So it was nice having our own bed each. Price is reasonable as well.

Helpful staff and our family room was very good, clean and spacious. Nice outside areas for sitting enjoying the views. Large car park across the road as well. The breakfast was very good indeed, freshly prepared good quality produce, served by a very nice waiter who was very cheery and helpful.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
stayed at Green King pubs before and bedrooms have been disappointing. This one was excellent and spotless and a very
comfortable bed.
Dinner excellent and fairly priced.
Breakfast good and choice requested was followed.
Staff were great, nothing too much trouble.
The food was excellent - we had dinner and breakfast.
Room was comfy but would have benefitted from a small sofa or 2 armchairs at the end of the bed rather than having to sit on the bed to watch TV.
Room was lovely. clean, spacious, and comfortable. Wet room was amazing! We had dinner in the pub which was delicious. We were there as needed a place to stay when working in the area, but the place was so nice it felt like we were on holiday. Already have plans to return for a long weekend when not at work.
There was 7 of us one was a 90 year old so the disabled room was superb and the rest of the rooms was excellent. The pub was warm and welcoming as was the staff from breakfast to dinner the food was very good. Excellent choice and good value.
The younger guy who checked us all in, served dinner & behind the bar was absolutely first class...he said he would look after us..& he did just that...excellent service throughout...Good Luck in your new job.
I'm gluten/dairy free ...good options for breakfast & dinner, well done 👍
The accommodation room was lovely, I booked in as single & had a queen bed..& garden/carpark view..excellent.
Tea/coffee in the room was a bonus & I was even given lactose free milk.
We had an enjoyable one night stay at the Rockingham Arms whilst visiting Wentworth village. The pub itself is great - cosy and welcoming, and in a good central spot in the village. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. We had dinner which was also very good, both quality and value for money. In terms of the room, it was spacious and had a very comfortable king size bed, and everything we needed for a short stay. The shower was powerful and heated up straight away.
The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and chatty which was lovely. It is a beautiful old village pub and the accomodation looked great from the outside, the bedroom was warm and the bed comfortable, unfortunately the black mould in the bedroom and ensuite was very unpleasant. The dinner on our first evening was very nice, we both had burgers and the full English breakfast was great, please see my comments below regarding your eggs royale.
