Amazing setting and well beyond my expectations on the room, I would class the accommodation as luxury. The roll top bath, dressing gowns and slippers along with toiletries were delightful. I will be defiantly be visiting again in the near future.

Location was perfect, and there was ample parking. Once local ale tap was restored (on second day) I had the drink I wanted. Staff were excellent, especially Grace in the bar.

Absolutely, everything about The Castle Inn is just fabulous. We were lucky to have booked on a beautiful day, and we were blown away by the hospitality, friendly atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings of the building and its gardens.
The room was immaculate, and the bed was extremely comfortable!
The food was beautiful, and the continental breakfast was fabulous.
My husband and I believe it's the best place we've stayed and we will be booking again very soon!

Lovely old building in the heart of lovely Usk. Spacious comfortable well-equipped bedroom. Dinner and breakfast very good. Not over-priced. Convenient free car park.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, they allowed us to keep our bikes outside. The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was great and we had porridge and yoghurt in our room for the morning (they weren't doing hot breakfast but we knew this in advance). The location was brilliant!

Small but very comfortable cottage. Clean. The owners thougt of everything f.e. rubber utensils for non sticking pans, wich were therefore in a good condition. Hard to find in most cottages is our experience. Everything you need ( not more) is there and well thought of. Great bed with crispy white bedlinnen!
But the most important feature of this cottage is de amazing view. We were lucky to have great weather so saw astonishing sunsets. For us it was the best cottage ever: complete tranquility, solitude and views to die for.
The surrounding area bears a striking resemblance of a village built ideally for a movie set. The Castle Inn has a flare of the old England preserved culture, that is full of history and quite inviting. Every traveller that loves a quiet, picturesque and captivating environment will love placement. USK is a beautiful town, and, or a beautiful village with breath-taking panoramic few of hills and mountains.
