Felt the overall price charged was expensive when compared to other pub/hotels we would normally stay in. Staff were professional and attentive but felt breakfast could have been more substantial.

Breakfast disappointing. Dinner very good. Room a good size and bed comfortable, but some minor issues. Bathroom door wouldn’t close, spiders/cobwebs in all corners, bathroom shelf stuck in place with blue tack.

Absolutely, everything about The Castle Inn is just fabulous. We were lucky to have booked on a beautiful day, and we were blown away by the hospitality, friendly atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings of the building and its gardens. The room was immaculate, and the bed was extremely comfortable! The food was beautiful, and the continental breakfast was fabulous. My husband and I believe it's the best place we've stayed and we will be booking again very soon! Diolch o'r galon i chi!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they allowed us to keep our bikes outside. The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was great and we had porridge and yoghurt in our room for the morning (they weren't doing hot breakfast but we knew this in advance). The location was brilliant! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Small but very comfortable cottage. Clean. The owners thougt of everything f.e. rubber utensils for non sticking pans, wich were therefore in a good condition. Hard to find in most cottages is our experience. Everything you need ( not more) is there and well thought of. Great bed with crispy white bedlinnen! But the most important feature of this cottage is de amazing view. We were lucky to have great weather so saw astonishing sunsets. For us it was the best cottage ever: complete tranquility, solitude and views to die for.

The surrounding area bears a striking resemblance of a village built ideally for a movie set. The Castle Inn has a flare of the old England preserved culture, that is full of history and quite inviting. Every traveller that loves a quiet, picturesque and captivating environment will love placement. USK is a beautiful town, and, or a beautiful village with breath-taking panoramic few of hills and mountains.
