The whole Tynmouth Castle Inn experience was fabulous. Staff were attentive and focussed. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent. We had 2 dogs with us, and it was perfect. A ground floor room with a terrace... just awesome.

We stayed for two nights. This is a large house turned into a guest house, with some ensuite rooms and some with a shared bathroom. The house is lovely, stylish and well kept. Our room was small, but exactly as described. The large smart TV was a nice touch for before bed. Sea view was lovely. The host was really friendly and accommodating. The thing that surprised me the most was the value for money - other places for this price (sometimes more) did not look as good, and this location is premium!

Location, the newness, spacious bedrooms, friendly and very helpful staff. Great emphasis has been placed on the Bar, (hence called an Inn I suppose) which doubles as the restaurant. The Bar is extensive, beautifully appointed, I like the different sitting options, many of which offer a degree of privacy, the bar area is impressive and I expect will attract a lot of locals rather in-house guests. The views from the Inn are delightful. My bedroom was large, of course newly furnished, comfortable, with a very nice shower/bathroom.
