The Bunk Inn, hotel in Newbury

Situated in the picturesque village of Curridge, The Bunk Inn is a premium village inn serving locally sourced produce on its modern British menu alongside a traditional country bar with a selection...

It was perfect for our stay, ample size car park too which is great . On entering it felt cosy and welcoming and the staff were all so lovely and happy. We had room 2 on the ground floor which ticked all the boxes, plenty of space. A mini fridge with milk and water was appreciated . Plenty of fresh clean towels - comfy bed. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal and breakfast when we left

Very nice staff, very accommodating, Good food and very convenient for our visit to Highclere Castle near by . Very nice atmosphere in the pub area and clearly very dog friendly which we really liked. Room was a little small but comfortable. It was beautiful; lots of quirky pieces of furniture and things on the walls, all ‘Bull’ related obviously. We didn’t eat a full dinner, just a drink and a snack but the food being served in the restaurant looked great. Nice little play area and field for children to play in

The food was delicious and far better than the usual pub grub. The service was pleasant and attentive. Every request was answered quickly and well. I really enjoyed the scampi and skinny chips.

The location was great and I liked the 'pub with rooms' style. The food was delicious and great value with a set three course dinner meal available. The bed was super comfy and the room was clean.

Good value modern accomodation attached to an old inn with lots of outside space in a lovely village you would not find by chance. Despite the latter their good restaurant was busy and we had an enjoyable 3 course meal for £20 (Tues and Thu evenings and ? Friday lunch). Would make a lovely short break and there is another nice pub doing food a 5 minute walk away if you fancy a change..

We stayed on a Monday when the inn was closed so understood that food was not available. Working around was not a problem. Overall a nice location with well presented accommodation. Marko was particularly helpful. Will use again.

Very pleasant room. Nice little field to exercise the dogs. Good food at the sister pub The Bladebone as there was a power cut to the Bull Inn when we arrived. Breakfast at The Bull Inn was lovely too. Lovely staff, efficient, friendly and very helpful, especially Sophie!
