Lovely spot overlooking the valley. Loved the use of the hot tub under the stars. Cute little pod.
Staff at the bar were friendly and helpful - nice comfy lounge area. Nice to wake up to the Llama’s. Shared Bathroom was stocked with lots of toiletries for your use.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Breakfast very good, lots of choice and the staff were a well oiled machine. I needed quiet and the service was very friendly throughout and surroundings peaceful. Dinner was also very good, no bells and whistles but well presented and very tasty.
Anton Guest House has the most comprehensive breakfast menu we have yet come across, all of which were delicious. The hosts were lovely, there was a smart TV and the attention to detail was superb - we were offered home made cake on our arrival.
Superb room with really comfortable bed and fan due to the hot weather . The standard room was cozy but perfect.Everything you could’ve wanted was provided. Lovely Occitane toiletries in the bathroom We requested fresh milk for tea and they gave us delicious flapjacks too! Dinner was delicious and the staff delightful. We couldn’t fault anything We will definitely return if in the area. Its well worth a visit to Attingham Park opposite, a NT stately home.
location excellent, hotel very clean and staff very helpful and attentive. bed very comfortable and food at dinner outstanding. The staff are seeking to run a high quality hotel with a high standard of service with a traditional feel to it
Others have mentioned noise; my room was on the side overlooking the beer garden of The Bull next door but the music and noise curfew was strictly enforced by the staff there so noise was not an issue for me.
From the moment we walked in, we felt like welcomed friends. Robin and Louise are excellent and kind innkeepers! We loved the house, the grounds, our comfy bed and bathroom! Robin and Louise offered us a lovely breakfast each morning, and accommodated us on our last day with an early departure.
