Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Breakfast was adequate. Poor amount of fresh fruit was available and my scrambled egg was a bit tasteless. Our friends who arrived with you a day earlier were very disappointed with Dinner, on previous night so we decided to eat in St. Andrews on our evening stay over.
Brilliant location and the room was lovely. Very clean and even had underfloor heating in the bathroom. Chloe and the other staff made us very welcome and even gave us a special table for dinner, which we enjoyed . Breakfast was made to order and well presented. All in all a very pleasant stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to back there.
The guest house location is very good. Walking distance to town and beaches. The owner has provided small accessories such as shower cap and body lotion which were convenient.
The owner is very friendly to provide information about town. Room is clean and quiet. Small breakfast items are provided with a small fridge which is convenient.
Set on a beautiful golf course in a remote setting. You do need transport to get about however there is a very good bus service near by.
The hotel had a few room on the upper floor and has additional 2 story buildings outside.
Our room was lovely and bed was really comfortable.
The bar is lovely looking out onto the golf course.
The food in the restaurant was delicious all home made we had breakfast and dinner.
Really enjoyable stay
Staff were amazing
The views were fantastic, and the proximity to Strathkinness Tavern and StAndrews a definite plus. The layout was just right, especially for one person. Linda worked hard to rectify BT's incompetence and gave handy advice on laundry facilities in St Andrews.
