The Room was lovely with a lounge and fireplace, bedroom upstairs - we visited during the snow recently and it was bitterly cold, the lovely lady in the Pub came across and not only sorted out the fireplace for us but also installed two portable heaters for us too - so kind and attentive to our needs

Brilliant inn with amazing views, great food and good beer. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! Enjoyed every second of it and the staff were amazing from start to finish! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Beautiful old coaching inn with heaps of history and perfect location for our stay whilst travelling north. We were made to feel so welcome and treated like we had stayed there many times before by an amazing team. The food and accommodation were second to none in our book
We liked the room, which was comfortable and had a very good shower room. We liked the hosts and enjoyed an excellent breakfast. The host also made a very good recommendation for dinner on the evening We stayed in Richmond.
The room here was lovely, the bed was super comfy and the view from the window was lovely. They even had proper big cups for tea in the room!
The room was small but perfectly formed and I couldn't have asked for more to make it a really comfy experience.
I had dinner downstairs and even though I was travelling alone I felt comfortable and the staff were really friendly - I'm so sorry I forgot to ask names!
