Rose And Crown Hotel, hotel in Mickleham

In the heart of Wimbledon Village, the Rose and Crown Hotel has air-conditioned bedrooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs with Sky HD channels, including Movies and Sports channels.

The bed was comfy and large and the room was spacious! Especially compared to other places we have stayed in and around London. Check in was easy and free parking was a great bonus. We liked the cosy but modern feel. Coffee machine & tea selection was great! With some bottled water also in the room. Great location to have a stroll around Wimbledon or within a short walk to get public transport into the centre of London! The pub wasn’t open til late so our stay was very quiet which is always a bonus! We really enjoyed our one night stay

Breakfast and dinner were both of a very high standard. Parts of the hotel date to the 16th century and our bedroom was quirky but large and well appointed. the bed was very comfortable. The setting requires street parking on rural roads, but this did not present a problem. There are many local country walks.

Lovely experience in a real inn dating back the 17th century, so well refurbished. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip! The easy walking access to the Surrey downs was unique.

Lovely rustic shabby chic historic inn, located in a picturesque village looking up at the North Downs. Staff very enthusiastic, attentive and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and the chef's innovative and original dishes were worth the trip. Make sure you dine there, although you might want to avoid some of the noisier tables with happy diners having a fun time. Room was large and comfortable with view of the church and the bus stop for Staines.
