good location in the middle of town, excellent food and facilities, comfortable but not for anyone who struggles with stairs, it is very old and charming but you need to navigate a building that is hundred's of years old, that is part of the experience. Would stay here again, no problems

In an excellent area with some many days out under an hours drive, the cooked breakfasts were delicious and a very good menu for evening meals. The lodges were quiet and beds very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly especially Sarah who took a lot of time advising us on day trips and anything we needed to know to make our stay pleasant

The bed, shower, and room as a whole was very nice and the hot chocolate was a nice touch. The fact I could leave and come back whenever felt very nice to have.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We have stayed at Hunters Inn many times and never disappoints.Food and staff were excellent and will be returning as always.Holds a special place in our hearts as we stayed at Mill Ham cottage for our honeymoon 27 years ago ,within walking distance of Hunters Inn and visited several times, returning also with our children for the walk to Heddon's Mouth.
You will not be disappointed.
The location is so beautiful. It is tucked in a valley with beautiful walks and access to a lovely cove to swim in. If you are looking for a fantastic secluded countryside location then this is it. The gardens around the inn were well maintained, child and dog friendly.
The bedrooms were spacious with storage and lovely en-suite bathrooms.
The staff were lovely and very helpful.
Wonderful stay. The hotel was comfortable, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to provide us with vegan options at dinner and breakfast. The surroundings are stunning.
A lovely, welcoming hotel in a truly fabulous location. Very comfortable, spacious room, with lovely bathroom. We've been promising ourselves a stay at The Hunters Inn for years. We were not disappointed.
Superb breakfast in the Inn next to our lodge. Great lunches too, and superb dinners. The location of Hunters Inn is really gorgeous, in a valley that leads to the bay. The Hunters Lodge is a self contained accommodation with a little bridge and veranda. Nicely decorated and furnished. Lovely garden view from the lounge window. Couldn't improve on it.
Fabulous location. We were walking SW Coast Path and the Hunter's Inn is a perfect spot for a stopover. Entering the valley when it's located you're completely surrounded by wilderness. If you looking for peace & quiet, don't look further.
The breakfast was lovely, perfectly cooked eggs and breakfast meats.
I chose Hunters Inn as it was an ideal location near the Sw Coast Path. What I found was beyond my imagination. My room was beautiful with views of the garden , and a fabulous claw foot tub. Perfect after a long walk. And the staff were friendly and skilled.
We had a very nice and comfy room.Good breakfast and dinner.Very nice surroundings.
