A good old-fashioned pub with rooms. Good food, good service and good beer. The room was clean and the breakfast exceptional.

This was our fourth visit and as always everything was excellent. The new owners have only been there since November last year and are doing a great job.
Also, we have booked again for later this month

The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was very nice. The chef was very accommodating and made a lovely sandwich for me in the morning as I was getting an early(ish) taxi to the station.

Very friendly. Good value for money. Comfortable room.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
There is absolutely nothing about our stay that we did not like. Staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful, the property and accommodation was outstanding and the food (dinner and breakfast) was great. Located conveniently just off the M6, we intend to make this our regular half way (North East Scotland to London) stop. Property has plenty of well lit parking, and as a bonus, it is also pet friendly.
Breakfast was excellent, to a high standard
